After a courageous battle with cancer Ann passed away on March 26, 2020.

Born in Kent and raised in London, the author always loved the countryside. Writing began at a very early age – her first novel completed at 15. Discouraged from following the career in journalism, she found work as a secretary before becoming a business studies teacher. Although she has written many articles for magazines, she only got to publish her first book, “A Token of Love” after retirement.

Ann was married, and leaves behind a loving husband, two sons and six grandchildren. Before passing she was able to fullfil her dream and relocate to Canada for the final years of her life.

Ann was involved in many activities, including voluntary work and helping to organise events for local clubs and societies. She was the secretary of a local tractor club for twelve years and, as a result, learnt to drive a tractor and took part in the first ever Pink Ladies Road Run which raised money, and continues to raise money, for Breast Cancer. She also took part in the National Road Run, which took place in 2010 in Norfolk, UK and involved 500 tractors.

She has travelled extensively across Canada, Australia, India and Europe.

In March 2015, Ann was featured in one of India’s national papers, The Hindu. The full article appears below:
